What's Happening and What We're Learning

Merry Christmas!

Have I really not updated this blog all fall?!  Oh my.  Life is busy but very good here at the Witmer house.

Katie and Ben have had a great few months.  Katie is thriving at school and can now read 3 letter words. She’s on the cusp of taking off.  She lost her front tooth around Thanksgiving and looks adorable!  Ben continues to blow us away with his ideas and inventions.  He’s always coming up with plans.  He started riding his bike this fall without training wheels.  He got it within 3o minutes!

John is doing tremendously well.  He is full of energy and fun.  He spends his days running around the house, drinking Pediasure to help get his weight up, wrestling with Katie and Ben, begging for candy if he knows there is any around the house, babbling and making lots of sounds especially if he sees a truck or a dog, and snuggling with Andrew and me.  He is just the sweetest little guy.  If anyone is hurt or upset he’s the first one to go over and give a hug and a kiss.  He’s also very good at imitating sounds and voices.  He likes getting laughs and being the center of attention.  Health wise, he’s doing wonderful.  We’ve had some sickness (pinkeye, cough, cold, fever, etc) and he’s fought it just like the others.  Thankfully, we didn’t have to go to UVA for any additional treatment.  He is a gift.

Thank you for all your support and love this year.  We are so grateful for each of you!  Merry Christmas from our family to yours!IMG_4377IMG_4388IMG_4394IMG_4339
